For attorneys & mediators

Your clients keep the record. You get to read it.

Treaty gives co-parents a tamper-evident record of messages and schedule changes. When a client invites you, you see the same record they do, read-only, with nothing to subpoena from us later.

There is no professional account to create and nothing for your firm to buy. Access is a link your client makes and your client can take back.

Access

Read-only access, granted by the client

A parent adds you from Settings, Sharing, with your email. You get the family's messages, their custody calendar, and the sealed history behind both. Your view is private to the client who invited you: their co-parent is not notified, and nothing you open shows up on anyone else's screen.

  • Client controls what you see. They choose the family and the scope when they create your link.
  • No editing, ever. A viewer cannot post, reply, edit a schedule, or delete a line. Neither can the parents: the record appends.
  • Revoke any time. One tap ends your access, and the revocation is itself part of the record.

Verification

Verify a record in two minutes

Every message, read receipt, and schedule change is sealed into a chain the moment it happens. An export carries a certificate for that chain, so you can check the file in your hand without taking anyone's word for it, including ours.

  1. 1

    Your client exports

Messages, sealed read receipts, and schedule changes come out as one PDF, in order, with a certificate page at the end.

  2. 2

    Open the certificate

The last page carries a short code and a sha-256 fingerprint. Enter the code at gettreaty.com/verify. No account, no sign-in.

  3. 3

    Compare the fingerprint

The page returns the fingerprint we sealed. If it matches the one printed on the export, the file you are holding is the record as it was written.

Treaty produces a tamper-evident record: if a line were altered, the fingerprint would stop matching. Whether a record is admissible is a question for the court. We make it verifiable.

Verification reveals no names and no message text. It answers one question: is this record intact.

Exports

Exports that read like a file

No screenshots, no scrolling a phone in chambers. Each thread prints as dated, attributed entries with the sealed read receipt beside them, so a paralegal can cite a line by page and by time. Schedule changes print the same way: who asked, who answered, and when it sealed.

  • One continuous record, not a folder of screenshots from two phones.
  • Event numbers run straight through, so a gap is visible on its face.
  • Times carry the family's time zone, not the reader's.

Working with a family already on Treaty?

Have them add you from Settings, Sharing. You will get an email with a read-only link, usually within a minute. If they are not on Treaty yet, send them the homepage: the record has to start before it can be read.
